What counts as a request: every authenticated call to /api/v1 or an MCP tool call. Creating an inbox, listing its messages and reading a code are three requests. Quotas reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Going over returns 429 quota_exceeded until the next month or an upgrade — nothing is charged automatically.
No account? A personal free key from the docs still works and has its own 200 requests/month; it isn’t pooled and can’t be upgraded. Create an organization in the dashboard to share keys with a team and to upgrade.
